This Privacy Policy explains how The Retrophone Project ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit retrophone.org or purchase a Retrophone.
Information We Collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and a phone number, along with payment details processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process orders, ship your phone, provide support, and send transactional messages about your purchase. If you provide a phone number, it is used to contact you about your order and, where applicable, to provision your Retrophone calling service.
SMS / Text Messaging
If we send SMS messages related to your order or service, the following applies: message frequency varies based on your order and account activity; message and data rates may apply; you can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, and reply HELP for assistance.
Sharing of Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as Stripe for payments and our shipping carriers), and only as needed to fulfill your order or as required by law.
Data Retention and Security
We retain order information as required for accounting, warranty, and legal purposes, and apply reasonable safeguards to protect it.
