Retrophone

Old phones, new purpose.

The Retrophone Project rescues classic Ma Bell telephones from drawers, attics, and landfills and gives them a second life as modern, screen-free voice devices.

Every dollar of profit goes to EarthPercent — not our pockets.

After the cost of the donor phone, parts, and shipping, every remaining dollar is directed to environmental causes — keeping electronics out of the waste stream and funding the protection of the natural world.

Our profits go to EarthPercent

EarthPercent is the music industry's climate and nature foundation, co-founded by Brian Eno. Its mission is to unleash the power of music in service of the planet — channeling funds to high-impact climate and nature organizations chosen with an expert advisory panel of scientists, researchers, and activists.

We give to EarthPercent because the Retrophone is, at heart, about sound — the warm, unmistakable voice of a real handset. Their Sounds Right initiative made Nature an official artist on the world's streaming platforms, turning what we hear into funding for the ecosystems that keep the planet livable. We think a phone built to be heard belongs in that company.
